Clearance Schedule Ref No. APNS/AC/2010/83 April 5, 2010 All Concerned Member Publications
Clearance Period: January-February, 2010
Dear Sir,
We regret to note that some of our member publications are not following the APNS Clearance Schedule while lodging complaints with APNS against accredited advertising agencies.
In this regard, we have to inform you that the last dates for member publications to file their complaints against advertising agencies for the coming clearance period i.e. January-February, 2010 are as under:
You are therefore requested to lodge your complaint on the dates provided in the clearance schedule else the complaint having received after the last date mentioned in the schedule, will be entertained in the next clearance.
We have also observed that some members send their claims for previous clearance periods alongwith the current clearance which result in confusion and hence delay in the clearance of their dues even of the current clearance. We request you to kindly send your claims for previous clearances separately containing statement of bills, Release Order Numbers, date of insertion and amount of the bill.
You would appreciate that in the absence of your cooperation, the APNS Secretariat can not achieve the desired results and all efforts to ensure timely payments to member publications render futile. We hope all member publications, will ensure adherence to the clearance procedures.
Thanking you.
Yours faithfully,
Sarmad A. Ali
